Since the launch of the HandiTheatre® outdoor movie system with the inflatable outdoor TV screen the popularity has dramatically increased.  According to the Managing Director of Smart Digital Australia, HandiTheatre sales have grown dramatically. Likewise the interest and thus direct hire business has also grown exponentially through the company’s events division Melbourne Open Air Cinema. 

James Cunningham, our Managing Director recently presented the Rotary Club of Templestowe in Melbourne with a complete HandiTheatre system.  The Rotary Club of Templestowe has as one of its international projects to support an innovative program called Art Building Childrens Dreams (ABCD).  ABCD is all about supporting children in very poor communities with little hope of making a great success of their lives.

Kids camps are extremely popular in Australia and New Zealand.  They provide training, entertainment and growth to the future generation.   Outdoor movie systems are perfect for the established camps as entertainment must normally be provided in the evening. 

Recently Smart Digital Australia supplied a giant inflatable outdoor movie screen to its Gold Coast customer Blue Shadow Group.  Blue Shadow Group commissioned a huge water park in Bahrain in the Middle East.  Both rear and front projection screens can be supplied to suit the customers’ requirements.  Screen sizes are entirely customized and supplied with all the required blowers.

Smart Digital Australia today announced a new low cost outdoor movie system for backyard parties. The system called HandiTheatre® Lite comprises of an inflatable outdoor movie screen 2.5 m (100”) on the diagonal, a powerful digital projector and great sound system complete with separate sub woofer. An optional 3 m screen is also available for the bigger backyards.
